CROATIAN IOTA HUNTERS GROUP B Y L A W S Art. 1 The Group full name is Croatian IOTA Hunters Group. Art. 2 Group has its own logo, its name serving as its trademark. Art. 3 CIHG is not a legal entity, being a non-profit organization based on mutual interest of ham members. Its activity is based on Croatian amateur association HRS‘ Statute and the Group bylaws. Art. 4 If the CIHG Board determines that the Group should be organized as a legal entity, it will be done as a radio club within HRS. Art. 5 CIHG is a mutual interest-based group of hams, who formed the Group to effect their mutual Art. 6 The goals of the Group are the following: Art. 7 Requirements to become a member in CIHG: each licenced ham or a SWL who made contact (or heard) a minimum of 100 different IOTAs since 5 July, 1992. At least 1 IOTA should be from 9A. All other requirements are determined by the Board decision. Art. 8 A new member is awarded with membership diploma with his/her membership number and a privilege to use CIHG insignia on QSLs and/or WEB page. Art. 9 Each member of CIHG must send out QSL cards on regular basis for all his/her QSOs. Art. 10 If CIHG member does not comply with regulations from these Bylaws, his/her membership may be cancelled or revoked. This decision is made by CIHG Board and its decision is final. Art. 11 CIHG is run by its Board and represented by the Group president for the term of 4 years. The Board consists of 3 members, who jointly run the Group for the term of 4 years. The Board may appoint its individual members for specific area of interest, ie. to be in charge of public relations etc. Art. 12 All Group members have a meeting at least once a year, consulting each other on previous period activities and plans for future periods. Meeting(s) are called by the Group president. Art. 13 All members jointly participate in activities of commont interest, such as: Art. 14 The Group promotes its acitivites by issuing various awards and diplomas. Currently the Group issues 2 diplomas: Art. 15 New dilpomas and awards will be decided upon and effected by the Board, which also appoints a manager for each diploma. Art. 16 The work of the Group is public and based on democratic principles.
