9A 650 C - The members of the Amateur Radio Club Koprivnica ''9A8K'' will be active with the special                    anniversary call sign on the occasion of the 650 years of having status of free town, which                    Koprivnica got in 1356. In that time Koprivnica had the Latin name Caproncensis .

                   Koprivnica was one of the very few towns in the Middle ages, with
                   special privileges and grants received from king Ludovik I in 1356.
                   Some six centuries old town has always been on the crossroads
                   of trades and crafts, throughout ages that brought war and peace,
                   commerce and trade, culture and peaceful farming.

The special call sign will be in use from the 1st January until the 31st December 2006 .

The QSL manager for this activity is Kresimir, 9A7K.

On the occasion of the 650th jubilee of the city of Koprivnica , the members of the ARC Koprivnica''9A8K'', issue ''Koprivnica City Award'' for the contacts with radio amateurs from the city of Koprivnica .

One QSO with '' 9A 650 C '' call sign is enough to get the special ''Koprivnica City Award''.

The contact with 9A 650 C is also valid for the «Worked 9A PFX Award» and « Croatian County Award ».
